During his weekly Majlis at the Za’abeel Palace, His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic partnerships with the private sector as a crucial component of Dubai’s economic strategy. He greeted local officials, businessmen, investors, and senior officials in the presence of Sheik Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE.
According to His Highness, Dubai’s collaborations with the business community have contributed significantly to its capability to attain its development objectives and enhance its international status. He stated that the public-private sector partnerships principle is crucial to augmenting Dubai’s global leadership in vital sectors.
Sheik Mohammed also highlighted the national workforce’s role in promoting the emirate’s progress and prosperity. He mentioned that Dubai has ambitious plans for the future, and the emirate has the talent and resources to make them happen. The local workforce’s wealth of leadership abilities and creative talent has enabled Dubai to become a significant global player in shaping the future of crucial sectors.
His Highness Sheik Mohammed also highlighted the robust framework of Dubai’s economy and its diversified foundation. He emphasized Dubai’s focus on developing forward-thinking sectors crucial to its continuous growth as a global innovation, business, and investment center. His Highness welcomed all innovative concepts to expedite Dubai’s progress and supported promising ventures to generate new economic value and enhance human welfare.
On the sidelines of his weekly Majlis, Sheik Mohammed met with officials and staff from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, led by CEO Omar Bu Shehab. The Sheik praised the Establishment for its efforts to improve the well-being of citizens and elevate their quality of life.
Many distinguished personalities attended the event; among them are Sheik Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Lt. General Sheik Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheik Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who serves as the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; Sheik Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council; and Sheik Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, who is the Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated. Several ministers, senior officials, and other dignitaries were also in attendance.
