Dubai’s role as a global trade hub continues to strengthen, with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce reporting significant growth in both membership and export activity during the first nine months of 2025.
According to the Chamber, 53,838 new companies joined between January and September 2025, marking a 4% increase compared to the same period last year. This steady rise highlights Dubai’s appeal as a destination for entrepreneurs, investors, and multinational firms seeking to expand into the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
Exports and re‑exports by Chamber members also surged, reaching AED 264 billion (approximately USD 72 billion), a 16% year‑on‑year increase. The growth reflects Dubai’s expanding role as a logistics and trade powerhouse, supported by its world‑class infrastructure, strategic location, and pro‑business policies.
The Chamber further reported a rise in the issuance of Certificates of Origin and ATA Carnets, underscoring the growing ease of cross‑border trade. In addition, 90 local companies were supported in their international expansion efforts — a 20% increase compared to 2024.
Beyond trade facilitation, the Chamber has been active in shaping the business environment through regulatory reviews, private‑sector consultations, and initiatives designed to strengthen family‑owned enterprises.
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses, for example, launched new advisory services, training programs, and governance events to help ensure long‑term sustainability and inter-generational growth.
This momentum reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for commerce and investment, offering businesses not only access to regional markets but also a supportive ecosystem for innovation and expansion.
