In a move to bolster employment opportunities for its citizens and increase Saudisation efforts, The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced a new target to localise 40% of consulting jobs. This marks an increase from the previous target of 35% set in the initial phase launched last year. The initiative encompasses various fields within the advisory industry, including financial, business, cybersecurity, project management, and engineering roles.
Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the decision aims to expand job prospects for Saudi nationals across diverse sectors of the economy. This will be done in close collaboration with the public sector entities to ensure successful implementation of this target.
The ministry encourages Private sector companies to take advantage of incentives and support programs provided by the ministry to facilitate the recruitment and retention of local talent. These initiatives encompass recruitment assistance, training programs, and ongoing job support.
Details of the various programs have been published by the ministry. Previously targeted roles in aviation, optics, inspection services, and postal outlets were prioritized for nationalization. The current initiative encompasses more sectors and increases the implementation of Saudisation.
The kingdom aims to invest in the skill development of its citizens and increase private sector employment opportunities for its citizens. This strategic approach aims to empower Saudi nationals to contribute significantly to a dynamic and diversified national economy, in line with the objectives outlined in Vision 2030.
