The UAE’s Economic Partnership Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has officially come into force, strengthening trade links with Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The agreement reduces or removes tariffs on approximately 86% of customs items, covering around 96% of the value of trade between the UAE and EAEU markets.
Annual bilateral trade is projected to reach nearly $50 billion (AED 183 billion) by 2032, creating further opportunities for businesses, exporters and investors across both regions.
Non-oil trade between the UAE and EAEU reached $33.6 billion in 2025, reflecting the continued expansion of economic ties.
The agreement is expected to strengthen supply chains and facilitate greater cooperation across sectors including manufacturing, logistics, technology, food security and precious metals.
Part of the UAE’s wider international trade strategy, the partnership further strengthens the country’s position as a gateway connecting businesses with high-growth markets and global opportunities.
