We organized several successful events in 2023 to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the business community. These events included a Business Matching event for Omani and UAE businesses, the 6th Annual Ramadan Majlis series. In addition, we participated in the National Science, Technology & Innovation Festival and Gulfood 2023. Through these events, we have demonstrated our commitment to promoting business growth and development in the region.
B2B Event:
The Corporate Group (TCG) organized an innovative Business Matching event on 02.02.2023, with the support of UAE suitable suppliers and partners, to provide an opportunity for Omani Business Delegation to collaborate with local businesses. The event featured presentations from each company, facilitated networking, and individual 121 meetings, to identify and meet the needs of all active companies. Ayman Al Awadhi addressed the event as the Speaker.
Ramadan Majlis series Event:
TCG hosted its 6th Annual Ramadan Majlis series to celebrate the holy month. The first session took place on 27th March 2023, with an impressive audience gathered around the theme of digital and e-commerce. We were privileged to welcome esteemed guests and members of the Eurasian Business Group, including:
- E Rawan Jumabek – Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai & Northern Emirates
- E Alisher Salomov – Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai & Northern Emirates
- E Ilhom Abdurahmon – Consul General of Tajikistan in Dubai & Northern Emirates
- E. Sergei Alekseev – Consul of Belarus in Dubai.
Over four days (27th March, 3rd April, 6th April & 10th April), events were held to serve different segments of the EurAsian Gulf, German Business Council, Global Impact Forum, Emirati Entrepreneurs, and TCG clients and business partners. Through these events, we sought to increase awareness within business communities across all sectors as part of Dubai’s initiative for the Knowledge Economy.
(NSTI) festival:
The National Science Technology & Innovation Festival (NSTI) is organized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. It provides an environment that fosters a passion for science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
GMD Ayman Al Awadhi was honored to be a mentor of college-level startups under the competition name: The Next Founder. Students from local schools across UAE were engaged in workshops, mentorship, and coaching sessions to develop their startup projects further.

Gulf Food Exhibition:
Dubai served as a gateway for Latin American companies during the Gulfood 2023 trade show, held February 20-24. At the event, Our GMD Ayman Al Awadhi was invited by Dubai International Chamber to speak to exporters from Latin America.
Gulfood 2023 showcased over 300 exporters from Latin America, showcasing their products at their country’s pavilions and other standalone setups. UAE food and beverage imports reached USD 2 billion in 2020 as the focus on food security continues to grow steadily.
Ayman Al Awadhi was delighted to be invited by Martín Ridley (Chief Rep. of Dubai Chamber International Office – Argentina) and Noora Sultan Saqer AlSuwaidi (Regional Manager – Europe & Americas, Dubai Chamber) to bring attention to the vast opportunities available in Dubai and provide an overview of the legal landscape of UAE for setting up businesses.
