UAE Planning Final Stages of Recovery from Crisis
The UAE Government has reached out to public to extend full cooperation to officials as part of its planning stage for the final stage of recovery from the Covid crisis.
The efforts undertaken by UAE to counter the challenges posed by Covid have been second to none, and the final results have reflected in the UAE being ranked highly under economies best prepared to operate in post-Covid environment.
Dr Saif Al Dhaheri, spokesperson for the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) publicly briefed the media in early November.
During the briefing, Dr Saif added that the top sectors affected by the crisis included aviation, education, health services and tourism, but other sectors have helped through volunteering and community participation.
While the UAE is taking sound steps in the economic, health and social front to overcome the crisis, Dr Saif emphasized that individuals and companies must not be lax, and should continue to exercise caution and cooperation in the path to full recovery.
