Dubai Land Department Completes 1.4 Million Digital Services in 2020

The Covid-19 pandemic did not deter the digital responsiveness and delivery of Dubai Land Department (DLD) which completed 1.4 million digital transactions in 2020.

The DLD provided successful execution of digital services through 2 of its channels. These are the DLD official website and the DLD REST mobile app.

HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, the Director-General of DLD said that the objective was to provide a positive projection of Dubai as a global hub for real estate investment. The DLD is also committed to enhance the values of innovation, trust and happiness in the image of Dubai.

The strategic objective of DLD is to undergo digital transformation, and support Smart Dubai in the Dubai Paperless Strategy. With digital services, customers get clear transparency, providing them with more trust in the entire process.

Experts are waxing eloquent on the digital turnaround effected by DLD in 2020, which has provided the much needed impetus for both the Dubai Economy, as well as for digital services.
