Dubai Economy Business Community Awareness
The Dubai Economy has followed its improved performance in May with a detailed plan to raise awareness of best practices among the business community members.
The commercial compliance and consumer protection sector (CCCP) is one of the key sectors associated with the responsibility of maintaining the rights of consumers, while still promoting Dubai as a business center. In this scope, a detailed commercial compliance manual has been launched by the Dubai Economy.
The manual is largely aimed at detailing the laws, regulations and requirements for commercial establishments and investors. Building awareness on best practices in this regard, with an end objective of reducing the number of violations is the larger objective of the manual.
The key information areas that the manual sheds light on are: intellectual property (IP) rights protection, business protection, protection of commercial agency rights, as well as trade names, trademarks and patents.
The manual is available for download from https://consumerrights.ae/en/Pages/download-center.aspx
