Dubai Government Identifies Best and Worst Performing Departments
The Dubai Government recently released the results of its customer happiness index and mystery shopping exercise, conducted across all Government agencies.
In a series of tweets, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan released the results identifying the best and worst performing Government entities as per the list below. He went on to congratulate the best entities for delivering quality service.
1. Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA)
2. Road Transport Authority (RTA)
3. Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
1. Dubai Customs
2. Dubai Culture & Art Authority
3. Dubai Land Department
4. Dubai Public Prosecution
The crown prince indicated that any Government entity under the rule of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed will maintain high standards in delivering quality services to customers across all its branches. A timeline of two weeks was also given to each of the worst-performing entities to come up with a strategic action plan to improve the products and services, with the crown prince indicating his personal involvement in the developments.
The move comes immediately after the Dubai Government released figures showing that 2019 had high growth in registering new trade licenses, indicating that the business outlook was moving in a positive direction. With most Government services going through online transition and reduction in service costs, the Government is placing a high focus on its service delivery quality, to keep Dubai on the top of the “ease of doing business” index globally.
