As an approved center of the ILM, St Andrews Management Centre delivers ILM Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) & Vocationally Relevant Qualifications (VRQ) in Leadership & Management.

 

Vocationally Relevant Qualifications (VRQ)

VRQs are tutor-taught courses with candidates being assessed through a series of written assignments. The flexible composition of each award allows us to work within the ILM framework to design a course of study which suits the needs of each individual candidate & business.

Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ)

With ILM SVQs, work-based practice is placed at the heart of learning. Candidates work on real, in-work situations and projects to develop a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their competency as a manager. The Aspiring Leaders Program

The Aspiring Leaders Program (ALP) aspires to equip graduates and aspiring leaders with the skills needed for a successful transition from student life to the business world. By introducing them to fundamental leadership, team-working and interpersonal skills, an understanding of emotional intelligence, health, and well-being, presentation and communication skills - including how to make an impact for the right reason - graduates return to your business motivated and better prepared.

The ALP also helps bond the group into a self-supporting graduate network who build strong relationships throughout their graduate scheme that last throughout their careers.

The experiential learning is through a practical application where teams carry out leadership tasks which are a series of enjoyable team challenges that are best described as light physical and cerebrally challenging.
